Haywood's Historic Farmer's Market: Wednesdays & Saturdays 8am-1pm: HART Theater at 250 Pigeon St, Waynesville NC Haywood's Historic Farmers Market, is located in Waynesville in the parking lot of HART Theater and the Museum of NC Handicrafts (Shelton House), 250 Pigeon St.(Hwy. 276). It is a short 2-block walk from historic Main Street and operates on Wednesday and Saturday mornings from 8 am-1 pm. April 16 thru December 6. This producer only, market offers locally grown produce, herbs, landscape plants, baked goods, meat, eggs, cheese, preserves, and NC seafood delivered fresh twice weekly. NC heritage crafters display brooms, weavings from natural fibers, pottery, furniture and wood products, soap, candles, and other items. Demonstrations and special events monthly. Madison County Indoor Winter Market: Saturdays 10-2pm: 258 Carolina Lane, Marshall NC Keep buying local through winter at our indoor market, held at the Cooperative Extension office in Marshall. Ten vendors offer meats, vegetables, cheese, crafts, and more. The market is held only on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month in January, February, and March.

Organic and naturally grown produce, such as early broccoli and squash, fresh herbs, asparagus, blueberries, strawberries, apples and so much more. Eggs, artisan breads, take and bake pizza and baked goods including scones, bars, honey, jams, jellies, also assorted goat cheeses,camembert and aged goat cheese. Our artists create handcarved stones, garden sculptures, glass nugget and stained glass pieces, skinningknives and kitchen cutlery, dried flower art, natual soaps and lotions and beeswax candles. The Jackson County Farmers Market is open from April - October, featuring only locally grown produce, products & crafts. Most of our growers use organic practices. We are open 9 am - noon on Saturdays in the Bridge Park parking lot in downtown Sylva. We also have a winter market featuring locally made crafts, jams, herbal products, pies and bread and more open most Saturdays December - March at St. John's Episcopal in downtown Sylva.
