The unique collection of traditional and contemporary work of more than 50 local artists and artisans now fill the front space of the Gallery with fine pottery, jewelry, wood, yarns and glass back-dropped by original oils, acrylics, pastels, watercolors, photography and prints. The Gallery was opened in 1997 by Jamie Cogdill, a Waynesville native, and Jon Bowman, a photographer whose work is showcased in the Gallery. In 2003 it was purchased by Wilma Dozier, and continues the tradition of an open air feeling inside as the doors are generally left open all year to welcome you in.
